I'm not quite there yet but fairly close to breakeven.  I was thinking of selling and say that's enough punishment but had a look to see the last time we had this kind of rise.  I'm not tech analyst but looking at from mid-April to end of May in 2020 seems eerily close to last couple of weeks.  I realize the circumstances were different in 2020 but still the chart looks ...more

I wouldn't get too caught up in Fortuna's chart. I think it can move up to $10 but it's because the price would be justified by earnings for the next 2 quarters. Not the past. The key is the price of gold needs to move up slowly convincing potential investors that higher prices are here to stay. Too much focus on the top for gold in 6 months, 1... 2... years. No debt and making cash ...more

you're right, am not too caught up, was just an observation.  I'm also thinking that the shorts are also probably somewhat responsible for the depressed price.  As you've said, If price of gold does stay up at these levels for quarter or two with good earnings then a short squeeze might occur (probably occurring now)... But if they're not going to make good profits with ...more
