Called

for what it is worth, I did call thier office today. I sorta got some answers by asking the right questions. News release who knows. 2 of the 3 rigs are running trying to find crew for the third. They are having problems, which is not all bad. They are drilling at an 80 degree angle for starters. for every hole they drill 600 m, i might be off a few meters. So imagine they start at zero when they end up at 600m the bit is actually 150+m off center. They are having problem with the dip angle of the formations, which did not surprise me. Very common in the foothills. Faults, they are hitting faults, drill bits do not like faults, tough to drill. BUT GOLD LOVES FAULTS.

ooopppss me bad, i meant 70 degrees. They are drilling 8 1/2 inch core, so the bit will be a lot tougher bit. I thought they were doing slim hole cores. I forgot to ask if it was wireline retrievable cores. i am assuming it is. for any of you new guys just google Gold and Faults, it will make your day.

lotto, I always thought that FVL holes (Phase 1: 10,000m drill program, 15-20 holes, starting with drilling of the rest of  hole 2002) were diamond drilling, since FVL was talking about splitting core samples to be sent to the Labs (see for example, 11 Sept 20020 NR for hole 2002). Most likely, they are NQ size (core= 47.6 mm, or 1.87 inch diameter). The 8.5inch core stated in your post would ...more

Correction: Oopps,...I got things mixed up big time. The geos I mentioned in my previous post is for SKE, not for FVL. Kristina Walcott, the CEO, sometimes would handle the call herself. GH11 ---------------------------

I'll jump on the 3rd rig, I could use a change of scenery. All great posts with loads of info today, good work guys. And thanks.

Do you mean to say that they announced a 3rd drill in advance, without even having lined up a team before hand ???... Who does this ?...As a famous person down south might say " C'mon man ! " ;)
Comment by Mackthenife on Oct 20, 2020 2:21pm
C’mon man! The drilling is done by a contractor who probably told Kristina they would have a crew there with the drill. I doubt any contractor or exploration company likes to see a drill sitting instead of turning making money. This is the new way of the world......... why work when the gov will take care of you!
Comment by CHOCKYISBACK on Oct 20, 2020 3:28pm
Hi Mack...I'm aware the drilling is often done by 3rd party contracting outfits. Futhermore I'm also aware with Covid protocols in place, that drilling times, manning rotations, etc will be affected adversely...What I do find curious however is that after announcing extra drilling rigs for end of August ( which in itself was delayed by a couple weeks into Sept. I believe ) that now ...more

I agree with your statements. I'm grateful for everyone who's called in and gave us some feedback. IMO... this feedback should be coming from the company itself.  GLTA!

I agree better communication would help stabilize this stock and possible help it move higher with a more positive trend
