Why the big drop in gold this morning ?

Pfizer said it's COVID vaccine is effective. I find the timing fishy but alas it's out of our hands. We need two things: Stimulus talks for gold momentum Assay results that are long overdue

This doesn't change the economic challenges. Stimulous packages are still required to support businesses. The vaccine is still under trail and a year at minimum for finalization and longer for distribution. Further more Pfizer also made a statement that was odd and was said by the radio announcer. Something to the effect that they wanted to provide good news and hope. I am trying to locate it

Minray you are 100% correct. This is all normal trading and the momentum trading train. This does not change the massive government deficits and need for more stimulus worldwide. Further, be very very cautious about this 90% effective rate. You will see this story fade away since it is going to take considerable time for any so called vaccine to be out in the market place even with fast FDA

It's a dangerous game they are playing by providing hope without disclosing all the facts and logistics.

Agree Minray. All think of it logically. 90% effective. Okay then who is in the 10%? The weak and elderly? If so this accomplishes nothing since 95% of the population is not at serious risk from Covid. Realty is setting in and the markets know it. GLTA

All I care about are the drill results. Its all that really mattersto me. Sure the price of gold is  important. It will always go up and down but the next drill results will tell us if we will become part of Kinross Alaska or not. This is all that matters to me and I will not sell one share until I get to read over the results. Where the $$$%#$##$ are the results Freegold.

Let's see how the markets react tomorrow. Gold is back up is Asia by 20.00 at $1882.00. Who knows, things may look good or the POG may go lower. Either way, we all just wait for the anticipated good news. Good night folks!
