RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Woodbine is a problem.....

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Woodbine is a problem.....Thank you for the clarification VRS77. My apologies. I know you were long in the past. Hope they fix those other issues. They also need more cashier windows on second floor for the table players.

Good luck on the slots and hope you win that triple jackpot (the big big one). At least someone on the board made money :-)

Apart from the circus on the ground floor at Woodbine - which one do you prefer among the others ?

Also did you mean 12 pm ? In the initial post you wrote 12 AM which led me to believe that you were there between 6 pm and 12 pm.  Now it looks like you were there between 6 am and 12 pm from what you wrote below. If there were no players last Saturday evening or night - then yes - would be a worry as weather was pretty decent. But early morning or before noon time - not a worry.

There is not too many people playing slots in VIP area period - I did see around 15 or 20 last time I visited and was really surprised and shocked. The main play is bacarrat and a little bit on roulette ($10 per chip / $100 minimum) or blackjack ($200 minimum). I saw some folks betting $10K on bacarrat in December.

The place is pretty crowded on Friday night and Saturday night up to 4 am from what I have been told by the supervisors.

If you were looking at the tables at 6 am or in the morning - the night crowd has probably disappeared.

I will try to get a feedback on the crowd in Woodbine today evening or night.

Q1 is the slowest time for the casino's in Canada mainly due to weather issues. The table drop at Woodbine is very good and will not be an issue for GC results.

OK let me make this straight. I like playing slots.. Most often go to Woodbine, occasionally Rama, Niagara, Blue Heron, Ajax.

I used to go to Woodbine at night ( more chances to play my favorites ), but since parking lot midnight fire I am going only in day time.

Feb 16  AM ( 6-12  hrs ) was nice sunny day and not much cold. As I have said, first floor was packed, second floor ( tables ) had a few tables busy, and third floor ( high stake slots ) had one person and me.

It used to be a rule to enter high end slots rooms casino players must have a players card and big number of accumulated points. Now, new policy is that you have only to register and get players card ( giving 5 $ gift if you are new ) and no any points needed. This was new to me and I asked since when they said started on January 2019. Why? They did not say but it looks like no players on third floor.

Plus, they are fixing issue with cashing in winning slot tickets, they have double system (  I was told apparently this will be soon synchronized ) and some tickets can be cashed in only at one place and the others on the other place. This is causing unnecessary players jam and making players to wait in long lines in front of two different boots. Bottom line: Woodbine will see some decline in cash flow and that might effect GC bottom line this Q, or next one.
