President's Club: Loyalist - PREMIUM membership

In our last note on KGIC (the former Loyalist) we said that barring a last-minute respite the company was done. The company has since announced a new management team and largely new board, which hopes to find the money required to keep the lights on beyond the 31st of December.

We called the company but got no answer. We would note, however, that there are no guarantees that they will find the funds in 10 days. We also note that one of the “new” directors is a former Loyalist director who presided over the collapse of the company. Also, the new chairman has links to a company called Cozumo, which named Andrew Ryu as CEO recently.

Investors who still own stock have two choices: Write it off in your mind and let it ride hoping that the new team prevails against huge odds, or sell it to salvage any value remaining and to take advantage of the volume (10 million shares have already traded.) It really depends on your view of what limited facts we have and the little time remaining before the company shuts down (barring a deal).

Warmest regards,
