CommentThe presence of these small exchanges makes things more difficult for us retail investors. We don't know what bids and offers may be present on these exchanges so we don't really know what the true market situation is at any time. I checked one of these exchanges to see what real time quotes would cost and, not surprizingly, the cost really makes it only suitable for industry traders to access. There are times when the volume on these exchanges will exceed that of the TSX (that's true today of another stock I was researching this morning). It's just one more thing that puts the retail investor at a disadvantage.
