Another Company Doing Dutch Auction

Autocanada announced a Dutch Auction, joining a few other mostly consumer stocks that have done them over the last year. Hopefully, Gamehost will do one soon. Major retailers like Target are considering letting people keep items that they wish to return due to oversupply issues, this could mean that inflation will start to decline over the next few months even if critical items like computer chips and new cars aren't being produced in an oversupply state.

While in theory this would be nice strategy for GH, I suspect that the BOD is content with NCIB as-is. Guessing maybe they are more comfortable buying blocks of shares as they become available rather than attempt to buy $15-20mm worth of shares at one time. The path we are on right now is a version of "dollar cost averaging" where the company continues to snap up whats available when ...more
