RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: As expected, thestrongOur US friends make a vital contribution to the canadian markets and are warmly welcomed. That said, this notion that NTR mgmt burned US investors with the timing of the NR is an overstatement. NTR opened at .42 the day after the NR, so we all got burned. Anyone with access to the markets that day who was really smart (or lucky) could have sold at .46. Better than .42 but compared to .64, still a big loss. Since the big drop there has been ample opportunity to sell at .38. Worse than .42 of course but again, compared to the big drop it's almost immaterial. About 10%. I'd be willing to bet that any US investor who really wants .42 could put in a limit order and be patient and they'll get it. Or do a little bit of day trading to get their 10% back.
I myself sold at .36, reluctantly. I bought at .50! Being Canadian didn't do me any good! Despite having sold I think this stock has good long term potential. Clearly there is a lot of gold at 3ace, plus they have other promising holdings. If NTR drops through the winter I'll happily jump back in, looking to eventually make back my money.
