Looks like CIBC Private Wealth is still accumulating and remains year leader in stock accumulation for 2020. When I saw the buy transactions from Clarus and Haywood at the end of the day, I consulted my notes for who owns what in terms of options/warrants. No one holds this amount of volume for this price, so I'm speculating it to be open market interest.
Insiders would have a couple days to file their purchases, so we may see something interesting soon if this is the case.
The amounts sum up to round numbers for today.
TMX often misses attributing the correct trading entity and assigns 'anonymous', as I have seen that occur with my own trades. So the last two trades of the day were likely both with Haywood for an even 1.6M shares.
Trades #3 and #4 sum up to 972,000 with Clarus.
Trades #5 and #6 sum up to 975,000 with Clarus.
Trades #7 and #8 sume to 285,000 with Clarus.
Trades #9 and #10 sum up to 975,000 with Clarus.
The remaining end of day trades with Clarus sum to 726,000 shares.
Today was already shaping up to be the 15th largest volume day out of 455 since I began detailing trading patterns September 2018.
