You think Soroush &Co. may want to throw we little doggies a treat
Comment by Will101 on Apr 14, 2022 11:00am
Battery day was a dud. No partners, no financing, no precise technical info on the batteries, no go ahead. Might be among the best battery in the world, but we do not know. Graphene sales are not ramping up. Still a believer, but Soroush and cie are not really strong on the marketing and sales side of the business....That has to change or the financing will take place at a ridiculous valuation. I ...more

Have to disagree with your sentiment, Will101. Were you at Battery Day? I was. We toured the facility and listened to the presentation and questions. What they have created in Montreal at VoltaXplore is a pilot battery plant. They are able to make batteries from scratch. Which also means they have the in house power to vary the formula and continue to optimize a variety of different chemistries ...more

Hello Antlercarver, you are making some good points. My point is that everything you are stating about the technicals of the batteries, the plant in Montreal, the fact that Nano should'nt be forced to put more capital directly into VoltaXplore, etc..... is not reflected in the actual share price of GRA, when compared to the valuation of different battery startups who in most cases  don ...more

Nice exchange of ideas and opinions here. I simply want to have Soroush Nazarpour throw decimated GRA share holders a bone. After all, he certainly appreciates treating we peon GRA share holders like dogs. So, it's only natural that he provide us a treat or some meat on the bone, so we can gnaw at. After all, like Jean Chretien, the former Prime Minister of Canada and the boy from Shawinigan, ...more

You guys have a point, though the metaphors leave something to be desired. :)  If you were in his shoes, or say his director of marketing/social media, what approach would you take?

If I were in Soroush Nazarpour's shoes, or say his director of marketing/social media, the approach I would take would be multifaceted. First, I would tell myself, i.e. were I Mr. Nazarpour, that I appear to 1student specifically to be, at first glance, a full on idiot for allowing the very class of potential financiers and people who are represented by and do in fact control "Imerys ...more

GRA trades at a ratio between 10% and 25% of current valuation of the few comparable companies in the "new" technology battery market. And GRA already has revenues in different verticals: plastic composites, graphene black, etc....And on the battery side, they sure look more advanced in terms of time to market, mastering the technology, manufacturing facility than some of those ...more

@ Will101 I had previously suggested, so many months ago, precisely what you have reiterated for readers Will101. Therefore, I will certainly agree that the work you reiterated GRA management needs "think hard about" accomplishing (and should have already accomplished) is precisely what needs to be done. If Martinrea International Inc 'principals' don't want to or simply ...more

They could have at least had a journalist covering the story. All we are saying is that it is inefficient management not to do so as its such easy exposure. Soroush does spend time talking to investors, why not maximize the effort. Extremely shortsighted. And if he thinks customers dont look at share price when on the fence for commitments!

Buy Martinrea, sell all non graphene operating assets to PE, you get Nano free and probably cash as well.

@smallcaps2grow I'll tell you it has to be in the works. Martinrea International Inc., is being targeted for it's exposure to NanoXplore Inc and the jointly owned VoltaXplore enterprise. Begining with Rob Wildeboer, Martinrea's Chairman and Co-Founder, they are all willing to sell for the right price. Martnrea International Inc has been hurting because of uncontrolled stop work and ...more

Does anybody have details on the 13% MRE stake.  Looks like its the the Tisch family. I d like to know more on them and how they operate. . I know the 9% stake is CCL, theyre pretty good at M&A arbitrage. you get another fund at 11% and its game over.

Thanks antlercarver for the report on what happened on Battery Day. Honestly, this is the first I read about it in the detail you presented it. Management could have videoed the presentation, the tour, the exhibits, and some pictures of the event for the benefit of stockholders, potential stockholders, potential financing sources, potential customers, etc., and placed them on their website or ...more
