RE:RE:RE:RE:explanationAs Investors we are products of our history.  I will always enjoy stock splits and am gravitated to tightly held floats such as this one because for the most part it puts the shares in demand and the low float has the potential to give me what "I" prefer based on what has happened to ME in the past.  But to each his own and you are very correct in pointing out percentage return on your investment.  My son is looking at investing his own money into the market aside from those who handle his money.  I always convey that one share rising 20% is the same as 1000 shares rising 20%.  Again we  have preferences based on the things that shaped us along the way but one cannot dispute a percentage return - percentage return is what it is so to speak!  Total return is not rocket science.  May our fortunes with this play continue :)
