RE:What a con game ….Have been away the last couple months butr "What a con game" is right! As long as Guidry is runninhg the show we will never see the share price rise. His plans implemented do not work for the shareholders (looking back, no appreciation in share price).
I mean, he's been doing the buyback thing for the last year and half or so and more recently, the consolidation. The share price is much less than 50% from a year ago and we have been selling the oil at a decent price. So what gives?
The problem is the expenses (including slush money), explorations and local payouts are too high. You service the debt and you got nothing left.
The real worry if the oil prices were to fall for some time!! Guidry would sink Gran Tierra Energy to near bankrupt and take it private along with his friends!
