(Sounds like a BS offer to play the stock price)

Why would someone only offer $28 and change when the company is on solid ground. And only suffering from distorted market value due to macro economics, and short selling games.

This is a traders opportunity in my opinion. Gonna do me some Whack-A-Dhortie.

A public announcement of a bid would certainly drive the price up, why meet with the board at all? Note also that HCG says this is the second time this group has made an offer to the board.
