RE: RE: RE: AM Attracting Analyst Attention GuruInvesting - perhaps you are unfamiliar with Marketcall, but the analyst is always required to state whether he holds a stock or not. Donville's comment about AM was that he was currently investigating it, and so far it looked good, but he hadn't purchased it yet. He made a similar comment about Rifco a few weeks back, and then this time, he stated he had purchased that security, and he named it as a top pick. If you follow Donville's comments from interview to interview, you will realize that he is extremely consistent in explaining what he currently owns, why he owns it, and when he sells something and why he sold it.
I have absolutely no worries about Donville's honesty. I've been following his picks for over 2 years now, and have done extremely well by picking up the stocks he recommends. Actually, a lot of his recommendations have been remarkably consistent for well over 2 years - he has consistently recommended Home Capital, Paladin Labs, Constellation Software, Carfinco, Argonaut Gold and others. There have been a few that he has soured on, and he explained why, such as Wi-Lan. The guy has an amazing ability to pick stocks that go up consistently over the long run.
