HNUs investment objective, is to seek daily investment results, before fees, expenses, distributions, brokerage commissions and other transaction costs, that endeavour to correspond to up to two times 200 Percentage the daily performance of the Horizons Natural Gas Rolling Futures Index the Underlying Index, Bloomberg ticker CMDYNGER. HNU is denominated in Canadian dollars. Any US dollar gains or losses as a result of HNUs investment are hedged back to the Canadian dollar to the best of its ability. The Fund To be successful in meeting its investment objective during the period, HNUs net asset value should have gained up to two times as much on a given day, on a percentage basis, as its Underlying Index rose on that given day. Conversely, HNUs net asset value should have lost up to two times as much on a given day, on a percentage basis, as its Underlying Index declined on that given day.

Yes, trading these units are nuts. It is a game. If anyone thinks this is more than gambling, i.e. they think that they are investors, they better watch out or they'll realize they invested in their own demise. For example the guy who says he needs HNU to go to $15. to recoup.  What?
The fundamentals are so fn easy here if you keep it simple. As jean rightly points out, it is next week's draw down that we are betting on. This week's estimate to be released tomorrow was based on last week's....got that? So, the cold temps this week should have an interesting effect on next week's number. But given the volatility, there are so many chances to profit each week.
If you aren't flipping this burger 2-3 times a week, you're going to get burnt. Easy money as long as you know how to play the game. The shares most of us are buying are from idiots like us...let's just all hope that we are wiser idiots.
