NEW YORK, Jan 12 (Reuters) - U.S. natural gas storage levels are expected to fall by about 142 billion cubic feet on average when weekly data from the U.S. Energy Information is released early Thursday.
In the weekly Reuters survey of 24 industry traders and analysts, withdrawal estimates for the week ended Jan. 7 ranged from 115 bcf to 158 bcf.
Storage fell an adjusted 250 bcf for the same week last year, while the five-year average decline for that week is about 108 bcf.
The median draw in the survey was 143 bcf.
The EIA storage report will be issued Thursday at about 10:30 a.m. EST
