RE:witholding tax fans - HOT disagrees with you.If true, IR should take the lead on this with brokers. Issuing the required notice and then claiming they are "not sure why TD is saying we are the ones doing this" falls short and sums up to a bunch of finger pointing with no resolution. Investors are stuck in the middle with hands tied. IR should be on the horn with the brokers responsible that are in error. Rectifying it will benefit the stock price and that's IR's job.
