RE:Taking a flyer

RE:Taking a flyerThere was a recent development in regards to certain hotel appraisals, which, I believe, were accepted by their lenders and this documentation helps improve their liquidity situation for the next year. I believe the target price among Canadian analysts is appromixately one dollar Canadian. The  Canadian small cap or microcap REITS impacted by dramatically and drastically higher interest rates are or were trading at around one sixth their post pandemic highs - very roughly speaking, and HOT.UN seems to be following that trend, except its actually has not declined as much as its peers over the past year percentage-wise, so you almost wonder if it has more to go downwards. I say this, in part, because the lack of insider buying is very discouraging with HOT.UN. Its small cap REIT peers, like True and Inovalis, and even Slate Office, that have declined much recently have seen some heightened insider buying, but not this Canadian hotel REIT. Another point: very little instutional holdings or interest in this stock. That might also help explain its freefall. I'd also be very much interested in hearing what others have to say about HOT.UN. The decline in its unit price is almost incredible.
