It means that if you had 1000 units of HOU before the consolidation, you will have 50 units after the consolidation. Ignoring any daily price change, the value of your 50 units will be worth 20 times what the value of your 1000 units were worth. So no difference in your share value, just gets it out of the low dollar range so as not to be delisted.
