Better than Hammond Power A little known company in the US called Preformed Line Products offers much better value at the moment than Hammond Power does imho. I think valuations are a little stretched at the moment.
It also comes up on my defensive stock screener as both a defensive play while offering compelling growth at the same time. The stock price (plpc) has just about doubled in the last 3 years and I think it can go higher from here.
