The INK Canadian Insider (CIN) Index is benefiting from renewed early interest in Canadian stocks. The INK CIN Index rose 1.5% last week. That leaves it up 6.7% year-to-date. Earnings and growth-by-acquisition news drove the INK CIN Index top performer last week. North American Construction (Sunny; NOA) jumped 28.4%. The other two top performers have yet to report Q2 results. They are Hammond Power Solutions (Sunny; HPS), up 14.3%, and Hudbay Minerals (Mostly Sunny; HBM), up 9.0%. The 3 biggest laggards last week were Aya Gold & Silver (Cloudy; AYA), down 7.8%, IAMGold (Mostly Sunny; IMG), down 7.8%, and Interfor (Sunny; IFP), down 4.5%.
