Fingers crossed we close our Flow thruCanada’s flow-through funding program remains the lifeblood for the junior resource sector.
According to Lisa Davis, CEO of PearTree Securities, flow-through deals account for about 80% of funds for junior explorers.
On the sidelines of the 2020 PDAC mining conference, Davis told Kitco News that the market needs more foreign investment. “If you can’t find a way for foreign investors to participate in these transactions, [mining companies] would be more limited in [raising capital].” Davis added that the good news is that foreign participation is increasing and money is starting to flow back into the mining sector.
