Mill status report

Mill status report
I posted on here a few months ago about the current status of the operating mill. I will repost the info as it has been asked for.  The information I received was got by a talk with a person high up the food chain at the site and he is well aware of the operation as he has a key role on site. I believe what he told me. Here it is.....

Initially the mill was brought on line with many deficiencies. These caused down time and modifications and upgrades were required. Corners were cut. Examples are pipe lining not installed on small runs causing wear points which reduced thier run life. As told to me nearly all of the issues were resolved a few months ago and it was reported the mill was operating well back then. It was also reported the issue was not getting enough feed to run steady state but based on Hartes last NR it seems as though they are getting the ore to the mill.  Another issue which is not good is the power feed to the mine site was experiencing way too many line outages. Voltage swings were taking down the plant also as the DSC operating control systems are very voltage sensitive. Hopefully this has been resolved some what for voltage swings but the power feed on the grid is a bigger issue as they will probly experience outages still. Hopefully they reduce outage down time. Power failures are never a good thing for any process plant and cause other issues in equipment damage, piping pluggage etc .

The mill IMO wont be a stumbing block but the debt and hedging and AISC are. Get the high grade and volume to the mill and we should be ok. Get the hedges off the books and pay down the debt then we are home free....
