The banking industry in the U.S. learned virtually nothing from the 2008 fiasco. 

I guarantee everyone that as the ugly truth emerges about this garbage, there will be a mad rush for the door and a lot of people are going to lose a lot of money. That probably happens in 2021 since there is a lag effect in all this stuff and most brokers won't warn their clients until the dam breaks. When the smoke clears, Alberta heavy oil will be recognized as safe, long lasting reserves that are both economically and politically stable.
