Another big opening this morning - anyone know what is driving this volume?

2 days in a row. The float is only 300M, at this rate they would gobble up the 30% LKS doesnt own in 30 trading days (if its 1 party). Not entirely surprising - the stock is trading at upstream valuation if that.

If a major buyer/player is gobbling up the float then it is certainly good news for 2 reasons: - we have a strong minority voice that can insist upon more money for minority shareholders. Still limited power but someone who can raise a louder voice. - you don't get the knee jerk wild selloffs every time Greta makes a speech or some other U.S. college speech has a student protest over climate

The current QC govt senior economic ministers are ex NBF. They know how important Alberta is to Cdn economy...as a matter of fact the QC finance minister had an op ed to that effect last Friday in FP. The BQ guy otoh seems like the definition of a loose cannon.

QC is simply a disgusting have not province since inception. Bail outs after bailouts due to poor management and embezzlements. Heaven forbid if Canada doesn't do something that benefits QC while shafting the rest of Canada afterall it's QC's philosophy Canada owes it to QC. We would be better off if they separate

QC always see themselves ruling canada. With that branding, QCers think they can play outside the rule of law. Just look at SNC Lavalin, most corrupted firm in canada.
