The problem certainly isn't crybaby "Albertans" (not Albertons) its basically the cry babies in B.C. who are shipping record volumes of coal from their ports to Asia while they rage against TransMountain and other pipelines and so called "dirty fuel." The crybabies in Ontario are using record amounts of gas and oil. Meantime, to those who actually look up the facts ...more

I follow the smart money because I don't have a 1000 PhDs working for me and majority of global oil has left Canada. Canadians and AB always blaming others for own mistakes and inability to thrive in a competitive global landscape. There's an old prairie saying "when the going gets tough the tough get going". Clearly all the cry babies in AB are from other parts LOL. Easy to make ...more

I think the best plan is to take a page from Quebec's book. Keep all the benefits of confederation-- currency, infrastructure, institutions (which would cost us billions to replace) and just keep demanding more and more favors and special status from the federal government until we end up with what Quebec has-- which is really sovereignty association. QC model is best one actually achievable. We can turn off the taps to rest of Canada anytime they start to forget their place LOL. Can get a deal on Gen 5 migs, S500, and hypersonic missiles too haha.
