Seems like there is almost a 30 minutes to hour delay from a VIX spike to when you see this thing moving. Question for the experts - is this normal action or are we seeing something that doesn't really exist? Tx.

I am NOT n expert but I have been following/trading HVU for a few years (with nice profit) but you need to follow rules and be strict about them. Mine are: 1) Only day trades unless there are clear signs of market upheaval. 2) I trade only on high volume (2 million +) or clear indication this is about to happen, 3) I watch VIX side-by-side, and yes there is at least a 30 min difference (the problem for us small investors is that VIX numbers are also delayed). 4) I invest a minimum of $20,000 a shot. 5) I am happy with a day return of 2-5% (we play against powerful computers with updated info).
