All depends on Cyrus. I don't think they will want to firesale everything and interesting to note their Board rep resigned a few months ago. Lots of questions to be answered.

I like your sentiment on this but I think that the practicalities of borrowing for PNG. Banks are pretty conservative so you wouldn't find a Canadian bank doing this but perhaps an Australian bank

Any capital requirements should be funded with borrowing on a bank facility (especially in PNG). Borrowing in PNG with the local currency would create a natural hedge against any contracts that are

I'd be against raising money for PNG, or Canada, at this time. If they want more, they can take it out of the RoC. HWO has been very well managed over the years. Share count in 2017 was 53 million

IMO, there will be no (official) appraisal value for the business forthcoming as they do not intend to sell. If they decide to spin it off as a public company, its value will be that of: PNG book

Very little value is attributed to the PNG business under the HWO umbrella. Although mgmt touts synergies by splitting I thought splitting would show the PNG business alone would be worth the current

Read the language of HWO in the company circular: this was one of the main component & beefs in the original proposal which they have abandoned. I don't know why people are so hung up of that

Nothing is achieved, they reiterated their stands to separate the comoany in the last NR. You just don't decide to go private, without a shareholder with nearly 50% holding wanting it.
