Well if they split it into a canadian listed canada based public company with publicly trade shares I'm fine with that, and so is everyone else.
It really feels like they tried to pull a fast one on us.
Personally I don't see the reasons put forth for a spinoff as valid. Supposed more efficient management. Why? What would change? They can't hire or use the managers they already have in PNG? They managed to do so for what, over a decade? I don't get it. It smells fishy.
The evil side in my thoughts says PNG was about to take off and Cyrus and the chairman wanted to pull a fast one on us. Whether that is correct or not, I do not know.
