About the 2023 Catch the Energy Conference

This conference is a rare opportunity for active investors interested in the energy sector to interact directly with CEOs and other company executives as they share their corporate stories and answer audience questions in a moderated format. Usually, investors must attend numerous  AGMs or spend hours online trying to pull all this information together.

Booth displays, showcasing the 45 participating companies, give attendees additional opportunities to meet companies' officials, from energy producers, energy service companies, and infrastructure/pipeline companies to innovative technology and materials companies in the renewables space. It's all here.

Come, Catch the Energy!

WHEN: October 14th, 2023

Registration and Breakfast: 7:30 AM

Conference Kick-off and Plenary: 8:30 AM

Conference End: 4:00 PM

WHERE: Mount Royal University, Bella Concert Hall & Ross Glen Hall

Anybody in Calgary who wants to go ? We need to grill the hell out of Mike !!

Business as usual? I'm curious as to how they're going to present themselves. The first slide should read: "We don't know what we're doing and are currently in limbo...but, our intent is to create some shareholder value for y'all." Would love to be a fly on the wall for that presentation.

Not in Calgary, but would love to ask among many other questions, 1. How much money has been spent on the reorganization plan, and 2. What do they say to shareholders about the fact that, at present market prices, value appears to actually have been eroded by their actions, rather than created.

A positive that they're a participant anyway. Shows they are interested in supporting the share price.

Not sure how much information they currently have to present to Canadian investors.. perhaps we will see an after market news release today or tomorrow that they'll actually be able to speak to about strategy!!

How about dusting off the NCIB while they try and figure out a fair way to unlock value for all shareholders. The NCIB benefits all shareholders equally while acknowledging the severe undervaluation of the stock by the market. At least they would be doing something while we are in limbo.

To state the obvious , they decided to take action, making it up on the fly , because of the falling stock stock and now they're petrified and frozen because it seems they can't do what they proposed and afraid of the consequences of doing anything. Just my 2 cents from a former shareholder.

Anybody on this forum attended the event yesterday?

Great idea however, we're in the same boat with Cyrus so close to owning 50%+ of the company. Stonks mentioned a while back an SIB. It might be in their best interests to do so with the provision that Cyrus agrees to match the shares tendered at the price tendered. In that manner shares are purchased but there's no worry that Cyrus will control more of the company. Given the way the stock ...more
