Divvy will not outweigh capital erosion??

Divvy will not outweigh capital erosion??I own some shares of HYLD...however am I the only one that is seeing what is going on here. The divvy for sure is attactive...but the erosion of capital is just short of extreme. So to me it seems like it defeats the whole purpose. I have read articles about avoiding these new covered call high divvy ETF's for this very reason...they may be right.
