Many of the high yield ETF's are turning into disasters. The high divvy is not even coming close to covering the depreciation of capital.

They got too greedy with the distribution - they maxed it out instead of leaving a bit of a buffer to weather upstream diistribution cuts.  Not a good look to have such a significant cut so soon ...more

That's a higher close than the day the dividend was reduced.......

Avoid this ETF! Extreme capital erosion and now a cut to the monthly distribution from 14 cents to 12 cents. Ugly.

I should also mention that this ETF has not been able to keep constant its monthly distribution at 14 cents...its now down to 12 cents. So not only significant capital destruction but also a falling ...more

I am out of this ETF. Divvy is nice but the capital erosion is huge and doesnt warrant the risk. I have also noticed the the ETF gets knocked down hard on down market days yet recovers very little on ...more

Nothing on my end either. Since the payout was announced to be "on or about" the 10th (Friday)...I would expect it will show up Monday.

This is why I avoid these juicy yields.....capital erosion is clouded by juicy yields until it's too late....wait till they start rights offerings, if they do, get out!

I own some shares of HYLD...however am I the only one that is seeing what is going on here. The divvy for sure is attactive...but the erosion of capital is just short of extreme. So to me it seems ...more

been a shareholder for a while watching the divi to see if they could keep it at .14 appears they can, rock solid for 12 months bot 5000 shares today at 12.18 into my RRSP yielding 13.8%/yr GLTA
