RE: RE: IAE Athena Partner Zeus/Lochard is Ripe fo Yes and not only would IAE get Zeus Athena 10% stake of 2200 bopd, that is the expected rate, and I believe that there is a strong possibility of upside to Athena field, so IAE knows the true potential value of Athena and the value of th 10% stake of Zeus, ie, 2200 bopd could well turn out to me alot more, still seems logical to me for IAE to try and get that stake, after all, look how long IAE has worked to get Athena to production, it would only make sense to try and increase their own stake in their field.
If IAE did make an offer to Zeus previously last fall but could not agree on terms, Zeus wanted more $ than IAE would pay, and given that IAE wants the best deal for us shareholders why not go hostile and offer a bone to suffering Lochard shareholders, just my thoughts.
As an IAE shareholder I would be very happy for IAE to boost its Athena take by 10% and subsequent cash flow, this would be immediately positive for IAE SP, cashflow etc
