RE:RE:$280 per thousand board feetDepends on the takeover price....I'm sure for the right price, the board would jump at it.  Interfor's whole strategic premise is to eventually be taken over by Canfor or West Fraser.

I don't think a SIB would we well advised at this point.  Interfor's purchased their own shares at I think an average of $36 over the past year, and Green First has slumped since their purchase.  This is why I think Interfor of all the forestry companies has been doing the worst of lately.

At this level, it's a good buy though.

Ian Filinger has to step in and purchase some shares like their CFO.

Prem Watsa and Chou wants out of RFP.  He's brought Duncan Davies in who is working on selling some of their undesirable assets, afterwhich I suspect their will be futher consolisation in the East.
