Construction workers up
US construction employment up 300k y/y for Jan 2023. Unless they are sitting around walking their dogs, which most employers don't pay for in that industry, they will be using materials at a certain rate, which means using lumber. No indication of recession by this figure. Just a matter of chewing through enough lumber and getting over the shock of higher interest rates.
