Red Chris Exploration Update
A very positive RC exploration update from NCM today. The East Ridge Exploration Target (upper case) increased substanitally from June 2022: gold content up 42%, copper up 77%. An updated Mineral Resource for Red Chris, which will include ER, is now scheduled, after more drilling at ER, for Q4CY23.
The FS based on the 2021 PFS was scheuled for CY 2023 but now it seems certain that there will be a new PFS that includes ER, which will contemplate either block cave mining ER after Block 1, or even block cave mining ER at the same time as mining Block 1. Either way, the new PFS should be substantially better than the 2021 version.
