RE:LSPD vs ATLove it Retired, let's go!
I have three questions for you if you would oblige.
1) Do 5i provide you with price entry and exit points and are backtested over time against a benchmark or just vague statements like "we like it as it has some upside under the right conditions"?
2) If 5i models are so good why are they selling their alpha for cheap instead of becoming a fund and trading it for themselves? Are they altruists?
3) Do you mind pondering my arguments on AT directly or does that expose a lack of critical thinking?
I'll add another one for everyone else. Why is being critical using facts pooped on here? If my points can be refuted doesn't that just make your investment thesis stronger and benefit all? Or is your bullishness based on blind hope and a fear that any cracks in that blind hope can put pressure on the stock?
That's not a sound investment strategy no matter how you cut it.

Question: Can I please get your opinion on LSPD versus AT? What price would be a table pounding buy? We have many recent comments on both posted. AT is far, far cheaper right now, and likely less risky with good upside under the right conditions. LSPD is growing faster but is more expensive, so there is a trade off. Without guidance as to risk tolerance, we would side with AT.
More from 5i. Note that they are prevented from owing Canadian stocks so they remain completely impartial. Their success is derived from the number of subscribers they have and that is based on the accuracy of their predictions and the performance of their three model portfolios.
