Large jump in government bond yields today
There was a large jump in government bond yields on both sides of the border today in advance of the FOMC meeting this week with both the Canada and the U.S. 10 year bond surging in excess of 2.10%, a yield which hasn't been seen for a long time. Utilities and power producers like INE can only go lower in this environment.
