RE:On A Run!This stock has definitely performed much better than Alterra. Having said that, buying into Alterra at .35 a share allowed me the opportunity to test the waters with little risk. I started off with 5000 shares and Alterra was my first time investing on my own without a financial advisor. I researched numerous penny stocks in the alternative energy sector and came across Alterra based solely on a Google search. Once I became comfortable with investing I gradually increased my position to 500,000 shares. When Innergex took over, this stock has become my best performing stock in my portfolio. One reason I started to increase my position in Alterra at the time was BoldForbes positive insight into the stock's performance over the course of owning this stock. It was that positive reinforcement that kept me from selling back then. Glad to see you back BF.
