Acquisition and quarterly results

Acquisition and quarterly results

Energia Llaima deal does not move the needle, unfortunately. Addition of $4.5M CAD FCF on an $88M investment is accretive but hardly screams.  Hopefully there is more to come from the acquisition in terms of future opportunities. I feel like they should be able to do something accretive with the extra cash form the Quebec Hydro subscription such as retire debt at higher interest rate than the dividend.

The quarterly results should be positive relative to year-ago, as the BC Hydro curtailment was a huge hit in 2020. One can always hope that they announce a victory against BC Hydro, which would be a huge boost.  Anyone want place a friendly wager on EPS?  I think average estimate is $0.09. I'm going to go out on an optimistic limb and say $0.13.
