RE:TMX is a "Go"

RE:TMX is a "Go"They eco-group activist industry have already threatened 'actions'. Rule of law does not apply in Canada, which is why both new and established investment, even Canadian companies, have left. Perhaps the 250 billion dollar federal deficit (so far) and the collapse of tax revenue will finally wake up the Feds. Or not.
The fact that the expanded pipeline is twinned with an existing pipeline (1953) over an established cleared route that has operated safely for almost 60 years apparently means nothing. The Feds bought out the pipeline project, which was self-financed and managed, and the costs are already projected to be over 12 billion dollars. Presumably you add the 4.5 billion purchase price to this. With government managing, if we're lucky this will end up, conservatively, being 25 or 30 billion. I usually triple government forecasts, but 'if we're lucky'.
