Energy East

Now that we are in a one sided confrontation with Saudi Arabia, one has to wonder if energy east is being discussed in the backrooms in Ottawa. The response to a few words of criticism by our foreign minister that the Saudi government is a bit hard on human rights (which everyone in the world knows anyway) begs the question "why are we buying their oil?" It seems prudent to question the security of the supply when a simple, true statement causes such a ballistic response.
