I agree with that very much. My batting average is over 70% with a very similar type of indicator with a couple of others things tied into it. My returns have not been great because the one loser or so can destroy 10 good proftable trades and also I am not on my computor all the time watching them as diligently as I should. Attempting to correct these issues though. I think over the past few years algorithms used by large institutional managers are pretty sophisticated and most have that RSI and momentum indicator as components. That is why many of us are doing similar trades at times but some execute a little faster or slower. I often notice the change in direction within a minute or so of placing a trade if I were to apply that approach. It is astonishing and just shows how many of us are doing the same thing. Crazy
These days I am trying to stretch out my hold periods though and capture larger moves.
