RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Brookfield's offer outpacing PPL'sIt's up 50% since its pandemic lows and everyone's tax needs are different.
My point was that I can sell BIPC higher and get just as good if not better div than PPL, For that matter I can sell my BIPC shares and buy more PPL than I would get with their .5 to 1 deal possibly getting far more shares as PPL will probably dip a lot if they do not pick up this gem that they have stated fits so well with their operations and revitalizes their mothballed assets. It may even dip low enough to acquire the 6.7% yield being promised now.
As far as I'm concerned the div part of the PPL offer is a nothing burger that was thrown in to appease the existing PPL shareholders.

That CHE.UN
CHE.UN cut their dividend in half last year. They have cut it earlier too (years ago) and never raised it. I own a boatload of it and am underwater. Also not an eligible dividend. On top of everyhting, they are losing access to their terminal in North Vancouver (plus remediation costs) in a few years. It's dead money.
