is vigorously crossed by lawyers and gets nailed.

It is doubtful if there will be witnesses at the Hearing. The only witness I can contemplate would be the Chair of the Special Committee who could testify as to the negotiations with PPL. The lawyers involved will ensure that any witness will not have listened to prior testimony.
