RE:financials...Mr Chamberlain's funeral was Friday. He was loved and respected by all. He was praised in business journals... for his way of putting projects together. The Argentina project was put together in a brilliant way - who could have predicted how bad the market would get? But it really doesn't matter in the long run - Ollachea in Peru is a much, much better project.
I don't expect a lot in terms of consequences from a shareholders point of view. Mr Chamberlain along with the rest of management have done a fantastic job of setting up Ollachea to be one of the largest high grade mines there is. Some say this could have 5 million oz!!! The financing is very advanced. Now we're just waiting for the announcement of who will be CEO now, then announcement of financing, and I think this one will make 1000-2000% over where we're at now, at least.
The community of Ollachea is very much behind this project. Mr Chamberlain along with Mr Benavides worked very hard to bring them on board. That's one reason why all permitting was approved and we're all ready for construction as soon as financing is finished. The community owns 5% of this project. There are costs related to keeping all the social programs going in Ollachea.
You are correct - it is one of the most undervalued of the miners right now, but I believe that's all about to change.
