Congo - peaceful elections in 2016?

Congo - peaceful elections in 2016?Now that the Zijin deal is closing, the risk lies in jurisdictional issues for Komoa and Kipushi.

The ideal scenario for IVN shareholders in my opinion, would be for Kabila to step down, hold elections in November 2016 and have a peaceful transition to a new government. If Kabila does this, Kabila will be a hero. He could deide to run again and come back as a lawfully elected, popular president for another 5 year term. He's a young guy at 44 years of age, so he's got time. Anyway, that would give a boost to Congolese investment and development.

The risk now, is that he clings to power and refuses to leave, creating stupid and corrupt ways to delay the election and stay in power. If this happens, the Congo will remain a risky place for IVN shareholders.
