Who is going to buy us?

Who is going to buy us?it seems to be a favourite topic of speculation.  Is the share price going up because of a leak about an M&A deal?  Who is the likely suitor?  Who would want these assets?  Who can afford it?  When would they sell out?  For how much?

Let's address these questions in turn:

Is the share price going up because of a leak about an M&A deal?
No.  It's going up because people are just starting to learn about this company and its incredible dscoveries.  And because it is EXTREMELY UNDERVALUED.

Who is the likely suitor?  Who would want these assets?
Anyone and everyone.

Who can afford it?
Most companies have marginal assets and a lot of debt.  They cannot really afford to do anything new until the cycle is much further along, metal prices higher, and cash flows much greater.  By that time IVN will be worth a great deal more as well.

When would they sell out?
Never.

For how much?
Infinity.

For all I know, as likely as a buyout for $10/share, is that the stock will go to $100 and they will buy out Broken Hill Proprietary.  You laugh.  But if exploration continues at this rate, this will be one of the largest mining companies in the world.  Stranger things have happened.  Look at AOL/Time Warner merger in the Dotcom days of 2000.
