RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:patienceI respect the point you make, and live by long holds for the most part in passive investments. But when I choose to buy a specific company, I am de facto choosing to be active with the responsibility that comes with it. There is an opposite argument for every point you make that has equal validity. Studies show much of the gain comes in short periods of time in blue chips, and my observation is that cyclicals like mining stocks are even more short lived in their positive gains.
I'm not running around with hot money trying to find ups every day and don't day trade. there are plenty of people on this board that were here doing that (and most have disappeared). I just don't think these market conditions will let IVN reach what I think is the potential near term, possibly mid term. I would say much the same for most other companies in the sector, and I adjust my holdings accordingly.
