Release of info and shareholder interest

Release of info and shareholder interestOne reason I think the company is building a package of data for a release rather than just NRs with assays as they arrive is that they want to have the maximum impact by publishing a coherent geological story with some meaningful numbers rather than just assays.  This is entirely reasonable and what we would expect of a developer or mining company.  This is no longer an explorer as they are devoting most of their time and resources to building mines.  We don't expect Teck or Rio to send out NR with every core or drill program, so why the same with IVN?

The other aspect is quite material:  the company is in negotiation with the DRC government and could feel it is not in shareholder interest to reveal these results while these discussions are underway.  That is a strategic decision, one that is consistent with disclosure regulations.

I think it is likely the former reason- they want to make a splash and are under no obligation to release until they want to.  Juniors do it because it is their lifeblood and they are hand to mouth.  IVN is well funded and provide public information in a more retrospective manner.
